Born in Edmonton Alberta, a cultural hotbed in the Arts, Eppo always had a desire to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
After working as a producer/director for Global Television in Calgary Eppo moved to Toronto in 98 to further his career in directing. He produced & directed several shows and image campaigns for Canadas leading networks including CBC, CTV, GLOBAL, LIFE, HGTV, FOOD, DISCOVERY, OLN and TSN. As his directing evolved he also followed his passion for acting by studying at Second City, acting in film and professionally in Theatre. He was able to translate his knowledge of acting into the art of directing. This lent a wide range of depth and understanding to several television programs including his documentary; After The Attack for Animal Planet USA and At The End of My Leash for Slice Network.
A director for six years in Toronto, Eppo returned to Alberta where he formed his film and television company POUNCE. He recently completed directing four episodes of Mega Disasters for History Channel USA. Some of his Alberta documentary credits include Trail Ride, At the Heart of Center Stage and the Gemini nominated A Day Inside for Global.
Eppos experiences in acting led him to a greater understanding of his craft as a director. He now thrives off of working with talent, hosts and regular people to bring incredible stories to life on screen. His love for this story telling gives him the energy and passion to continue honing his skills as a true visual artist.
