At the cutting edge of his craft, director Eppo Eerkes is widely known as being a strong and innovative visual storyteller. Hailing from beautiful Alberta, Eppo's honed eye for the astounding and the majestic has been with him for as long as he can remember. Bringing his craft to Toronto in the late 90s and working for the likes of CTV, CBC, OLN and Discovery gave Eppo the experience and exposure needed to become a major player in the industry. His experiences in professional acting during this time gave him a greater understanding of his craft as a director and furthered his passion for storytelling. A master of the documentary and of seeking out the truths that run underneath all things, Eppo's ability to get to the real-life heart-of-the-matter is unparalleled. Now back home in Alberta, Eppo continues to pursue his dreams of sharing unforgettable people, places and stories with the world through his production company, POUNCE.

2007's Save Kananaskis PSA, directed by Eppo Eerkes, begins with the phrase "If the trees could talk, what would they say?". The Save Kananaskis group says stop logging and create a park in the eastern districts of Kananaskis. Protect Calgary's water supply, provide opportunities for recreation and tourism and protect wildlife and their natural habitat.
This PSA was shot in under a day using some of Calgary's top videographers, editors and crew.

The Marketing Hall of Legends was created to honor Canadians who have dedicated their lives to the pursuit of excellence in the field of marketing.
